In the 3rd century the circulation of money both in western and eastern workshops increased because of the reform of the monetary system.
Coins found from the 4th century are mainly from eastern workshops. The most recent coin found was from Honorius (393-395 AD).
Several monetary treasures were found including one from Carvalheiras (Braga) which dates to the 4th century.
